As a native Texan growing up in the Dallas area, Amy developed a great passion for new home construction and design. After spending 16 years in the education field, she got the opportunity to pursue her dream of building her own home and starting Distinctive Decor. With an appreciation for the industry and knowledge of design and products, Amy honed her skills working in new home construction. Builders and Homeowners depend on Amy for her interior design expertise and specification of materials and colors for their new homes to help bring their new home visions to life. One of the largest financial and personal investments homeowners make is their home. With this in mind, Amy walks the homeowner through the new home construction with open communication, organization and excitement to see dreams come to life. In her spare time, Amy loves traveling and spending time with her husband.

JENNI
With over 26 years of experience in the design industry, Jenni graduated with her bachelors in Interior Merchandising and Design from the Ohio State University in 1998. Upon graduating, she entered the residential construction industry and never looked back. Jenni has been fortunate to live in some fantastic places nationwide and work with various design styles, focusing on helping each client personalize their homes to fit their lifestyle. For the last ten years, she has worked in the Hill Country, with eight of those years with Distinctive Decor. When she isn’t working with her clients, Jenni enjoys sewing and hiking, golfing, and spending time with her husband and kids.
